Congrats Allison!

4 pounds!!! That is huge!
What are you doing to see results?

  1. It's just because I have been inactive for so long and not given any attention to what I have been eating or how much. So I started doing some regular cardio and taking a class on saturdays. It is basically circuit training but without weights and you move for an ENTIRE hour. The average person is supposed to burn uptoward 700-1000 calories. It is SUPER hard, but you feel great afterwards. It is offered on Mondays also but I'm not able to make it those days so I have to do a session on my own.

    Also, I started bringing my lunch to work which has made the BIGGEST difference. (and its a lot cheaper). Trying to eat a lot more fiber and I've just been making sure to eat fruit whenver I want something tempting.

    So basically the same stuff everyone knows to do. Sorry no great insight. those first few pounds came off easy because I put on so much weight this fall and winter. So now I feel like I'm almost caught up to the rest of you (ok maybe in a few more pounds)

    p.s. I'm sitting here eating rice cakes. yuuuuuuuuuuum. hahaha.
